Ullswater has a beautiful backdrop of mountain scenery with sheer rock faces rising up from the lake, surrounded by fields of green and magnificent woodlands refecting variant colors into ullswater's mirroring surface. The lake itself offers many of the water activities of Windermere, such as boating and sailing, and ferry tours up and down the lake but the spectacular scenery is what makes it stand out as alot of peoples favourite lake of the English lakelands.
